Complete Jr. Dragster turn-key racing package. This package consists of a Motivational Tubing Pinnacle Chromolly chassis, J.R. Racing stage 8 motor, Jr. Racing shock wave O.D. clutch set up, Mychron race computer, and a custom painted body. This is a 7.9 second car that runs a very consistent 8.4 with a 165 lb. driver. Driving this car, my son won the track championship in the Junior Class in 2009 and 2010 at Alaska Raceway Park. Alternatively ballast can be added, gearing adjusted, and throttle stops installed, and the car can be de-tuned to run 13 seconds plus for beginners, and then removed as the driver gets older and can run faster times.
The car has a raised roll cage, and adjustable pedals that will allow for even a 5’10” driver to fit comfortably. We always use Royal Purple oil, and the motor has been sent back to J.R. Racing every year for refreshing. Due to a lot of rain outs in 2010 the car only has about 65 passes on the motor since the last overhaul.
The package includes a 2007, 18’ Interstate “V” nose trailer that acts as transport, pit support and storage for the car. The trailer features double axles, electric brakes, rear ramp and a side access door. Inside the trailer has been fully finished to support this car:
- Checkerboard floor tiles
- Built-in cabinets and workbench, lots of diamond plate accents
- Fully wired with outlets and fluorescent lights
- Stereo system
- Door cabinet, helmet shelf, oil caddies, hose caddy etc.
- Double high tool cabinet with a full set of Craftsman tools
- Generator and air compressor
- Car stands, car jack, 10 gallons of fuel.
- Load distributing hitch (trailer pulls nicely behind a ½ ton pickup with this configuration)
We are out of the Jr. dragster business, so everything we have related to the car will be included, extra parts, belts, fluids, oil, tire cleaner, even the pit chairs are included.
