2009 Midnight Sun Championship Series

Racers wishing to participate in the 2009 Midnight Sun Championship Series will need to register with ARP prior to participation in their first points race. You can register any time during the season, however, points will NOT BE AWARDED RETROACTIVELY. The registration form is available for dowload here. Registration is $20 ($10 for Juniors & TCR) and the funds will go in the season end payout. Racers that are not registered in the Midnight Sun Championship Series will still be allowed to compete in points events, but points will not be awarded to them.
Summit Super Series through IHRA: We will be continuing the Summit Super Series(SSS) for 2009. At the season end, our track Box and No Box Champion will receive $1000 each. Runner up in each class will receive $325 each. The points leaders in Modified ET & Super ET will have a best two of three run off to determine the No Box Track Champion and Runner-Up on Labor Day weekend. The names of the Box & No Box Champions will be forwarded to IHRA for a chance to compete at the World Championships in Rockingham in October.
If you are already and IHRA member, and a member of the ARP Midnight Sun Championship Series, you are automatically entered in the SSS. If you would like to be a part of the SSS, there is a $30 fee and a special form that will be available in March. If you need to get your IHRA license and would like to participate in the SSS, it is just an additional $10. ($40 total) Please note that this is a special membership and does not include all the benefits of full IHRA membership, and if you participate in any national IHRA events you will need to upgrade your membership at that time.
